Nutritional Value of Seafood

  • Long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA—key nutrients involved in cardiovascular, neurological, and prenatal health, as well as early childhood development

The Solution is Seafood

There is a simple solution to all of these deficiencies: Eat more seafood!

Seafood, including farm-raised steelhead is an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, and heart-healthy omega-3s. Health and nutrition experts recommend that Americans eat seafood at least once a week to satisfy our bodies’ needs for these and other essential nutrients, like B vitamins and selenium.
